Our client is a High-tech Industrial Equipment Manufacturer, expert in the development and innovative production of a high-technology, customized components across the region. Main Duties and Responsibilities

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Senior Manager, Production Planning, responsible for Leading Strategic Production Planning within the Manufacturing Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead Strategic Production Planning activities which includes the Master Production Schedules and Controls and Materials, Capacity, Inventory Planning and Analysis

  • Drive material forecast accuracy and material purchases by means of evaluating plant capacity to meet

    short-, mid- and long-term production forecasts,

    and integrate these requirements into

    capital planning

  • Work closely with the Procurement and Logistics to ensure an efficient supply flow of the raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods into the Manufacturing Operations

  • Actively involved in monitoring and improving the production capacity, and aligning said parameters across various markets process flow and planning systems

  • Ensure efficient work partnership with cross-functional teams

    such as Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales teams etc to mitigate any Production Planning or Delivery issues


Candidate Profile

  • Minimally Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies

  • Approximately 8 – 15 years of experience in Production Planning, preferably within High-Tech Manufacturing fields

  • Proficiency in MRP and ERP Planning tools e.g. SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics 365 and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred

  • Excellent proficiency in Excel

  • Certification in APICS, CPIM, CSCP or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantageous bonus
