Main Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Indirect Procurement Director, they are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Indirect Procurement Manager / Senior Manager to lead and optimize the indirect procurement function.

You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across various indirect spend categories. You will be required to act as strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in procurement management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Sourcing and Category Management: You will develop and implement comprehensive multi-year procurement strategies for indirect spend categories, including but not limited to IT, Marketing, HR, Facilities, Travel, Utilities and Professional Services.
  • Tactical Procurement Process Management: You will spearhead and manage the end-to-end procurement process including RFPs, RFIs, internal Purchase Requisitions etc
  • Supplier Management: You will build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
  • Cost Optimization: You will identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, negotiate favorable terms, and manage procurement budgets effectively.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: You will partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, align procurement strategies, and ensure seamless execution of procurement activities.
  • Market Analysis: You will conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends, emerging suppliers, and best practices in indirect procurement.
  • Contract Management: You will oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements while securing the best value for the organization.
  • Performance Metrics: You will establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities and drive continuous improvement.
  • Team Leadership: You will lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

Candidate Profile

Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPM, CPSM) preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in indirect procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex procurement functions and achieving cost savings.
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
