A global technology solutions provider is seeking a Director to drive the growth of its Managed Security Services (MSS) and Professional Security Services portfolio within the enterprise segment. This role will focus on acquiring new high-value customers and establishing strategic partnerships, with a strong emphasis on consultative selling, cybersecurity solutions, and executive-level engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new enterprise customers through strategic selling and relationship building
Lead consultative discussions with prospects to understand pain points, define problem statements, and develop tailored MSS solutions
Own the end-to-end sales process, including proposal creation, negotiation, and closing of deals to exceed revenue targets
Collaborate with the product and security teams to align messaging, solution strategy, and service delivery approaches
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and funnel visibility
Continuously monitor industry and client trends to inform sales strategies and improve solution relevance
Act as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, including CISOs and CSOs, particularly within the Japan market
Ideal Candidate Profile
Multiple years of successful enterprise sales experience in cybersecurity, preferably with a focus on Managed Security Services (MSS) and/or security consulting
Strong commercial acumen and foundational understanding of cybersecurity principles and market dynamics
Proven ability to engage and influence senior executives (CIO, CISO, CSO) across complex organizations
Established network within the Japan cybersecurity ecosystem
Self-motivated and highly results-oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills
Skilled in Salesforce.com and MS Office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Able to build and execute a strategic sales plan that delivers short-term wins and long-term pipeline growth
Strong communicator with exceptional presentation, writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
Native fluency in Japanese is required for customers; conversational English needed to work with colleagues
