Our client is currently seeking an individual to join the Finance Team based in their Singapore Corporate Office as an FP&A Analyst. This role will oversee their business in Southeast Asia (including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and South Korea).


Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Reporting & Financial Analysis

  • Prepare comprehensive monthly management reports on a timely basis.
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify key drivers of financial performance.
  • Provide insights through financial analysis.
  • Produce KPI reports for International Accounts (IA).
  • Assist with profitability and pricing analysis for fleet and IA projects and tenders as required.
  • Work with 6 different SEA countries to consolidate key financial information and provide analysis to leadership.
  • Consolidate and assemble presentation & analysis of the monthly financial KPIs to Regional leaders.

Annual Budgeting and Monthly Forecasting

  • Participate and support the preparation of the annual budget
  • Consolidate financial information for our SEA countries key financial information: P&L, Capex, depreciation, service costs, leasing costs, overheads, etc.
  • Ensure alignment with organizational goals and financial targets.
  • Review the monthly forecasting to identify gaps.
  • Suggest and implement changes on the current forecast process.

Business Impact & Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Work with Sales leaders across SEA region to capture and consolidate key business KPIs, including Order intake, invoicing, number of visits per salesmen, open inquiries per salesmen order backlog, units on rent, total units, utilization rate.
  • Work with service leaders across the SEA region to capture and consolidate key service KPIs, including: PMP completion, jobs per day, service job cards review, etc.
  • Monitor and manage running cost of Company assets including the rental fleet, service vans and vehicles etc. and cost of sales for service and rental to achieve contribution budget.
  • Deliver recommendations based on analysis results.
  • Assist with the development of improvement strategies based on the findings and statistical data available.
  • Provide support to maintain and update regional Pricing Calculation Tools to be distributed to each country across SEA region.
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as requested.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a business partner with cross-functional leaders.
  • Support financial and business analysis efforts to enhance sales and optimize costs.
  • Work closely with the Director of IA (SEA) to ensure performance is understood and brought up to (and maintained at) the required levels of expectation.
  • Assist and guide the branches and countries daily to provide information needed to generate business review, KPI reports, etc.

Process Improvement

  • Review and enhance existing processes and procedures.
  • Develop recommendations for efficiency improvement.

Housekeeping

  • Ensure that all documents belonging to the company, its clients and associates used in relation to the International Accounts are kept secure and available in good condition.
  • Maintain database of all International Account contracts.

Education / Experience:

  • Diploma or Degree in Business/Accountancy/Finance/related field.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organization skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
