Reporting to: Managing Director
Location: Malaysia
Team Size: Leading a high performing sales team of 12 people

The role:

  • Responsible for directing and overseeing all aspects of the sales function, this role is instrumental in achieving agreed sales volumes and driving the company towards its sales objectives.
  • Assume accountability for profit and loss
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue generation and achieve corporate objectives
  • Motivate and train sales staff to meet targets and uphold standards
  • Manage the sales budget to meet financial targets and regulatory requirements
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers and stakeholders to maximize sales potential
  • Stay abreast of competitor activities to maintain competitive position
  • Implement local Sales Channel strategies in alignment with broader organizational goals
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor intelligence & translate market insights into actionable strategies
  • Participate in industry events and manage communication with opinion leaders
  • Coordinate budget and business planning
  • Provide high-quality sales funnel data for financial forecasting

The experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales & Marketing or related field
  • Ideally 5 years of senior sales experience with multiple sales channels
  • Ideally 5 years of sales experience with profit and loss responsibility
