Client Description
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company operating in Singapore to identify their next FP&A Analyst. This is a hands-on individual contributor role sitting within the finance function, supporting the business across financial planning, reporting, and analysis. The company operates across a broad range of industrial and commercial end-markets, and is looking for a detail-oriented finance professional who can bring structure and rigour to their FP&A processes.
Role Description
The FP&A Analyst will support the finance team in delivering timely and accurate financial insights to the business. This is a role for someone who is comfortable working with data, building models, and translating numbers into meaningful commentary for stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Analyze current and historical financial data, including P&L statements, financial statements, working capital, costs, pricing, expenses, revenues, and returns
• Support budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, and management reporting activities
• Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic planning and business decision-making
• Assess market and economic trends and evaluate their impact on business performance
• Evaluate and forecast the financial implications of business initiatives, investments, and strategic projects
• Design and enhance automated reporting and forecasting tools to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and data utilization
• Review and refine financial reporting and analytical methodologies to strengthen business insights
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across FP&A, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting processes
• Support ad-hoc projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, financial analysis, or FP&A
• Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles
• Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
• Experience in financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
• Exposure to enterprise planning or ERP systems is advantageous
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions
