  • Reporting to: Vice President, Operations
  • Location: Taiwan (onsite/relocation)
  • Team size: Over 100 employees across various departments including production, quality assurance, engineering, and logistics.
  • Work mode: Full-time, onsite

The role:

  • Lead and oversee all aspects of the pharmaceutical manufacturing plant's operations, including production, quality control, engineering, maintenance, and compliance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and company policies
  • Manage and mentor a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance productivity, product quality, and safety within the manufacturing facility.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, supply chain, and regulatory affairs, to support product development, launch, and lifecycle management efforts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting of plant metrics, financial performance, and operational KPIs to senior management.

The experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Ideally has 10 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with ideally 5 years in a leadership role overseeing plant operations.
  • Strong knowledge of cGMP regulations, FDA/EU guidelines, and industry best practices related to pharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and achieving operational excellence.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
  • Lean-six sigma qualification would be an added advantage.
