Main Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Procurement Leader, you will be part of an integrated value-chain and is responsible for strategic cost-analysis:
- Drive strategic cost reduction program to achieve cost-savings throughout the manufacturing process, from NPI to Mass Production phase
- Lead and execute in-depth cost analysis of Bill of Materials (BOM) to uncover potential cost reduction opportunities
- Review current and develop new supplier strategies and identify key cost drivers to support target costing and informed decision-making, while maintaining strong supplier relationships to ensure risk management, on-time delivery, and consistent quality standards.
- Ensure efficient work partnership with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, Quality etc to mitigate any cost / supplier quality and/or supply assurance issues throughout entire product life cycle
Candidate Profile
- Minimally possesses a Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related studies
- Approximately 5-7 years of experience in Procurement engineering or Material Cost Analysis, preferably in Semiconductor Manufacturing industry
- Hands-on experience in geometric tolerances / technical drawings / understanding of BOM structure is advantageous.
- Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing, negotiation & analytical skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing teamwork in the organisation
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of SAP ERP systems would be advantageous
- Great knowledge of Data Analysis Tools ie. Power BI, Tableau would be advantageous
