About the client:
- The company is a multinational company which's well -knowned for it's innovative technology and product. Currently they are expanding the commercial team in Hong Kong.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing the Sales and Marketing team with marketing, operational, logistical, and customer support as relevant.
- Working closely with the team to creatively reach out to potential customers to increase company's recognition.
- Engaging existing and potential customers in building and maintaining good business relationships/partnerships.
- Responding and following up with customer queries and post-sales services through phone and email with minimal supervision.
- Assessing potential sales and marketing techniques and monitoring their efficacy in achieving targeted sales.
- Designing marketing collaterals for targeted customers (i.e., leaflets, order forms, sample reports, newsletters, presentation slides, etc.)
- Supporting the team in planning and executing campaigns/events (both online and offline -- i.e., physical and virtual booths, symposiums, and webinars) as relevant; promoting test services and products.
- Developing highly engaging marketing content for publication on different marketing channels.
- Managing and updating customer database to analyse customer behaviour and ordering trends.
- Liaising collaboratively with our internal stakeholders (i.e., Singapore commercial team, service laboratory team, and medical affairs team) in creating in-house knowledge and educational training materials as necessary.
- Taking charge of the procurement of marketing materials, gimmicks, office supplies, etc.
- Assisting in other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
To be a good fit for this role, you would have:
- At least a bachelor's degree in science-related fields, sales, marketing, communications, or its equivalent.
- At least 1-year of sales or marketing experience (preferably in the science/medical field). Fresh graduates keen to learn are welcome to apply.
- A high level of integrity, thoughtfulness and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with people.
- Ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to be flexible with work arrangements and openness to take on new and different tasks.
- Ability to learn and pick things up fast.
- Ability to think creatively for novel solutions to day-to-day challenges.
- A good working attitude with excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, negotiation/presentation skills, and self-motivation in achieving targeted outcomes.
- Interest in the biotechnology/ genetic testing/ healthcare/ biomedical field.
- Experience with design software and tools (would be advantageous).
- Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator or InDesign or other photo editing skills.
- Premiere Pro or other video editing skills.
- Solid computer skills and awareness of web-based marketing and social media.
