Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Production Planner, responsible for supporting Strategic Production Planning within the Global Manufacturing Operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Support Strategic Production Planning activities which includes the Master Production Schedules and Controls and Materials, Capacity, Inventory Planning and Analysis
- Drive material forecast accuracy and material purchases by means of evaluating plant capacity to meet short-, mid- and long-term production forecasts, and integrate these requirements into capital planning
- Work closely with the Buyers to ensure an efficient supply flow of the raw materials, semi-finished and finished goods into the Manufacturing Operations
- Actively involved in monitoring and improving the production capacity, and aligning said parameters across various markets process flow and planning systems
- Ensure efficient work partnership with cross-functional teams such as Manufacturing, Customer Service, Sales teams etc to mitigate any Production Planning or Delivery issues
Candidate Profile
Work location: South Korea
- Minimally Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies
- Approximately 3 years of experience in Production Planning, preferably within High-Tech Manufacturing fields
- Proficiency in MRP and ERP Planning tools e.g. SAP (MM/PP modules) and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
- Excellent proficiency in Excel
- Fluency in written and conversational Korean and English is needed as the role involves regular communication with Korean-speaking customers and internal stakeholders in the APAC region
- Certification in APICS, CPIM, CSCP or Lean Six Sigma would be an advantageous bonus
