Atomic Recruitment - Credit Risk Manager (Supply Chain Financing)
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Risk Manager to join our client, specializing in supply chain finance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and mitigating credit, performance, and fraud risks in the supply chain transaction pipeline.
The Risk Manager will continuously analyse portfolio performance, recommend strategies balancing revenue and risk, and implement risk management strategies within the venture's framework. They will be expected to maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify credit, performance, and fraud risks in the supply chain transaction pipeline, communicating these risks effectively and transparently, and finding effective controls or mitigants.
- Take a proactive role in deal teams, developing solutions with prospective clients, and identifying and mitigating risks early in the process.
- Continuously analyse portfolio performance and recommend strategies considering both revenue and risk.
- Implement risk management strategy within the venture's risk management framework, establishing effective processes to monitor and proactively identify emerging risks.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies, embedding the highest standards of ethics across the venture.
Requirements:
- 6-8 years of overall experience, with at least 2-3 years covering credit approval or credit analysis.
- Experience in supply chain finance and risk management.
- Experience in commodity trade finance and its risk management would be a plus.
- Strong ability to navigate financial statements.
- Highly developed risk management skills, with a keen ability to pick up anomalous patterns.
- Comfort with the uncertainty of an expanding startup, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to collaborate in dynamic teams.
