Atomic group is partnering with a promising Chinese Medical Device company seeking a dynamic and experienced Country Sales Manager to lead the sales efforts in Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and promote our innovative range of medical devices. This role requires a strong leader with a proven track record in sales management within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
    • Prepare annual sales forecasts and budgets, and ensure adherence to financial objectives.
  2. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales goals.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
    • Foster a positive and high-performance sales culture within the team.
  3. Market Development:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, healthcare professionals, and distributors.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
    • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
  4. Sales Operations:
    • Oversee the sales operations, including order processing, inventory management, and customer service.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
    • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management.
  5. Customer Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
    • Conduct customer feedback and satisfaction surveys to continuously improve service levels.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experienced sales leader in the medical device industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Italian healthcare market and regulatory environment.
  • Ability to travel frequently within Italy and occasionally internationally.
  • Proficiency in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
