Atomic Singapore is partnering with a Chinese listed pharmaceuticals company which is seeking a passionate and experienced Business Development Director to join our team and lead the expansion of the footprint in the Asia Pacific region (APAC). In this exciting role, you'll collaborate closely with existing customers in South and Southeast Asia, develop innovative business models, and spearhead the establishment of local teams in key markets.
What You'll Do:
- Fuel Market Growth: Develop strategies to expand existing client portfolios and drive sales across the APAC region.
- Forge Strong Partnerships: Build and maintain successful relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, regulatory agencies, and KOLs.
- Lead Local Expansion: Identify strategic locations in APAC, establish local teams, and initiate marketing activities to build the company's brand.
- Champion Brand Awareness: Elevate company's reputation within the APAC region through participation in global and local industry events.
- Navigate Regulatory Landscape: Ensure compliance with key market regulations in APAC and support the registration of new drugs and clinical trials.
- Secure Tender Victories: Develop strategies to win tenders, collaborate with internal teams to fulfill bidding processes, and manage contracts and shipments.
Who You Are:
- A seasoned Business Development professional with a proven track record of success in the APAC pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid experience in licensing antibody, recombinant protein, or anti-diabetes products in the APAC region.
- Proven ability to establish partnerships focused on marketing novel molecules in key therapeutic areas.
- In-depth knowledge of biotechnology, market access, pharmaceutics, business alliances, and technology transfer in APAC.
- To enhance the external communication capabilities, fluency in English and one of the following languages is a strong asset: Indonesian, Malay, Hindi, Mandarin, or Cantonese.
