Role Purpose

As a Cloud Consultant, you will be responsible for leading and delivering cloud workplace, identity, endpoint management, security, and collaboration solutions across the full project lifecycle. This role operates in customer-facing consulting environments, owning technical delivery from assessment through implementation and operational handover. The position is expected to produce structured, audit-ready documentation while supporting user adoption and operational readiness for enterprise clients. The role may also contribute to cloud infrastructure projects where identity, access management, and workplace technologies intersect.

Your Responsibilities


1. Project Delivery

  • Lead and deliver cloud technology projects through assessment, design, implementation, migration (where applicable), and handover.
  • Own project delivery quality, including scope management, milestone execution, and customer acceptance.
  • Ensure project deliverables are completed to agreed standards and timelines.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks throughout the project lifecycle.


2. Technical Workshops & Stakeholder Engagement


  • Facilitate discovery workshops, requirements-gathering sessions, solution reviews, and adoption-readiness discussions.
  • Manage communications with project stakeholders throughout engagements.
  • Present technical recommendations, risks, and trade-offs to both technical and business audiences.
  • Support decision-making by providing clear and practical guidance.


3. Documentation & Deliverables.


Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including:


High-Level Designs (HLD)

  • Solution architecture
  • Component overviews
  • Integration dependencies
  • Security considerations
  • Design rationale


Low-Level Designs (LLD)

  • Detailed configuration specifications
  • Policy definitions
  • Implementation procedures
  • Rollback plans
  • Environment-specific settings.


Operational Documentation.

  • Runbooks

  • Escalation processes
  • Knowledge transfer materials
  • Operational handover packs
  • Maintain structured, audit-ready documentation standards.
  • Support the creation of operational procedures and knowledge transfer activities for customer IT teams.


4. Identity & Access Management Solutions

  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions.
  • Configure authentication, access control, and risk-based security policies.
  • Implement single sign-on (SSO) integrations for enterprise applications.
  • Support identity governance and access management initiatives.


5. Endpoint Management Solutions

  • Deploy device and application management policies.
  • Implement compliance controls, configuration baselines, and endpoint security standards.
  • Support device onboarding and lifecycle management across desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Develop operational reporting and endpoint governance practices.
  • Provide guidance on device management strategy and coexistence scenarios where required.


6. Security, Collaboration & Governance Solutions

  • Support governance, security, and compliance initiatives across workplace and collaboration platforms.
  • Assist with platform migrations, including data, user, and device transitions where applicable.
  • Implement endpoint protection and security monitoring capabilities.
  • Configure information protection, data classification, retention, and compliance controls.
  • Conduct security posture assessments and provide remediation recommendations.
  • Support cloud infrastructure initiatives involving access management, permissions, networking concepts, monitoring, and integration requirements.


7. Troubleshooting & Post-Go-Live Support

  • Troubleshoot complex identity, access, endpoint, and policy-related issues.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and remediation activities.
  • Provide post-implementation support, including stabilization, optimization, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness validation.
  • Assist customers in transitioning solutions into steady-state operations.



Required Skills & Experience


Essential:

  • Experience with identity and access management solutions, including authentication, access control, and single sign-on technologies.
  • Experience with endpoint management platforms, including device management, application management, compliance policies, and security baselines.
  • End-to-end cloud project delivery experience within consulting, systems integration, managed services, or enterprise IT environments.
  • Customer-facing consulting and stakeholder management experience.
  • Strong technical workshop facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience creating High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), and operational documentation.
  • Scripting and automation experience for deployment, administration, or troubleshooting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across identity, endpoint, and security technologies.


Desirable:

  • Industry-recognized cloud, security, or endpoint management certifications.
  • Experience with endpoint security, information protection, compliance, or governance technologies.
