Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active lookout for a suitable candidate as a Supervisor, Logistics, responsible for the Logistics and Trade Compliance activities within the global manufacturing operations.
Key responsibilities of this role would include:
- Accountable for strategic planning and hands-on execution for logistical work operations
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation service providers and customers
- Manage 3PL on warehouse operations and transportation, including their key performance index (KPIs) and scorecard metrics. Generate reports and evaluate 3PL performances.
- Formulate and execute improvement of logistics processes and capabilities (streamline and optimise processes from upstream to downstream)
- Accountable for driving cost savings, process improvements, change management, program transitions and spearheading logistics projects
Candidate Profile:
Work Location: Singapore
- Minimally possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering related discipline
- Approximately 3-5 years of track records in warehouse operations and freight management
- Approximately 3-5 years of track records in working in / managing top logistics solutions provider would be advantageous
- Track record in Global Trade Compliance and Customs regulations would be advantageous
- Excellent communication, collaborative, problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Strong knowledge of SAP ERP System and Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel
