About the Client
Our client is a reputable FMCG US MNC and is renowned for bringing about Consumer Durables and Appliances products globally. With an integrated supply chain network world-wide and a dedicated Supply Chain Hub based in Singapore, they are able to deliver best-in-class value propositions to their customers. They are currently looking for an experienced Senior Supply Planner to further improve the growing business operations with a robust and accurate supply chain planning.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
You will be part of an integrated value-chain and is responsible for optimizing the supply availability at a Global level:

  • Derive and generate the Supply Plan of the Finished Goods, balancing between the sales forecast and manufacturing (conduct weekly analysis of supply constraints and demand changes) to ensure the fulfilment of the Global inventory strategy
  • Responsible for both the main product group SKUs, New Product Launches / Innovations and End of Life (EOL) supply planning
  • Ensure clear communication and act as the Key Contact Point to balance the demand and supply across various stakeholders including Demand Planners, Manufacturing Schedulers etc.
  • Able to problem-solve and mitigate out-of-stock risk, obsolescence and implement production and transportation actions when products are facing allocation or shortage issues
  • Analyse and maintain the planning data in the ERP system which includes purchase order confirmation, work orders and inventory data from Contract Manufacturers, and Freight Forwarders
  • Spearhead and support continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance planning capability and efficiency

Candidate Profile
Work Location: Singapore
* Minimally possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business or related discipline
* APICS certification and/or similar certifications would be advantageous
* Excellent analytical and reporting skills
* Excellent track records in manufacturing Consumer Goods environment
* Excellent knowledge to ERP/Planning system and Microsoft Office suite, particularly with Excel
