They take pride in ensuring optimized Value Engineering & Supplier Development Management to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of this role would include:

  • Design and spearhead the purchasing strategy within the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment to the company's growth and supply requirements
  • Design and execute policies and procedures across the operation of purchasing activities
  • Accountable for the Review, development and implementation of new / existing supplier strategy by means of ensuring proper monitoring of market movements to support the various Product Line
  • Support supplier reliability, supplier performance reviews and assist in contract negotiations
  • Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits.
  • Ensure efficient work partnership with Engineering, R&D, Quality and Factory Assembly teams etc to mitigate any cost / supplier quality and/or supply assurance issues
  • Support cost reduction projects, in alignment to product cost targets


Candidate Profile

  • Minimally Bachelor's Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Managegment / Engineering / Business or related studies
  • Approximately 6 years of relevant procurement / purchasing / category management, preferably within the Manufacturing Environment
  • Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing & negotiation skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing team work and synergy in the organisation
  • Displays strong and affirmative leadership with a diplomatic and team player personality
  • Good experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite
