About Our Client
Our client is one of the leading vertically integrated providers of Data Centres and IT Infrastructure in Asia. They have a robust and growing network in the region, including a crucial Regional Office set-up in Singapore. They are currently on an active look out for a 4-6 PQE Legal Counsel to provide advice and support on Commercial and Compliance matters. You will be sitting within the regional leadership team.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • You will be reporting to the Group Legal Director, acting as the legal point of contact for the Group's international business needs and requirements which may include matters drafting and reviewing commercial agreements including Services Agreements, Real Estate Leasing Agreements, NDAs, Procurement Agreements)
  • You will also need to manage Compliance activities such as investigations, executing compliance due diligence in commercial transactions, providing counsel on anti-bribery/anti-corruption compliance, sanction, export control
  • You will be an active promoter and drive cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration in various Legal program and policies initiatives together with your legal counterparts in the regional office as well as the legal team based in China
  • You will be a partner and collaborate with the sales and account management teams to ensure effective transition to implementation of contracts


Candidate Profile
Our ideal candidate will be one who has most of the below criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree of Law or Masters (LLB / LLM)
  • Approximately 4 to 6 years' post-qualification experience (PQE), within leading international law firms
  • Admission to the Singapore Bar (Singapore Bar qualified)
  • Strong track record of hands-on work with contract drafting, reviewing and negotiation
  • Good knowledge of and/or executed work for High-Technology Industrial Manufacturing / Real Estate / Data Centre industry sector
  • Conscientious with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions.
