Main Duties and Responsibilities
They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Global Procurement Manager responsible for the development of Procurement Strategy and Policies within the global manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and spearhead the procurement strategy within the division as a Subject-Matter-Expert, in alignment to the company's growth and supply requirements
- Design and execute policies and frameworks across the operation of procurement activities
- Review, develop and implement new sourcing strategy by means of ensuring proper monitoring of market movements to support the various Product Line
- Drive and make happen strategic supplier risk management processes to ensure optimal quality improvement processes in place, including that of proper management of material non-conformance
- Influence interface partners to ensure strategic cost savings with suppliers to ensure optimal company profits
- Ensure efficient work partnership with Sourcing, Engineering, R&D, Quality and Factory Assembly teams etc to mitigate any supplier quality and/or supply assurance issues
Candidate Profile
Work location: Singapore
- Minimally Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management / Business Administration / Engineering or related studies
- Approximately 8 years of experience in Procurement / Category / Commodity Management, preferably with good exposure to Semiconductor Manufacturing operations
- Know-how in designing Procurement SOPs will be advantageous
- Excellent in multi-tasking as well as written, influencing & negotiation skills to drive process improvements to enhance & streamline process maturity and optimizing team work in the organisation
- Displays strong and affirmative leadership with a diplomatic and team player personality
- Good experience using ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office suite
