Cloud Architect

The Position:
They are currently hiring for a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Architect to join the team. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies, architecture design, and systems integration, with a proven track record of delivering successful cloud projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements and technical needs.
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures that meet client objectives, leveraging cloud-native services and technologies.
- Develop detailed technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and migration plans for cloud deployments.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, including engineers, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, best practices, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Act as a subject matter expert on cloud computing, participating in client meetings, presentations, and workshops as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience in IT systems integration, with a focus on cloud computing.
- Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, reliability, security, and cost optimization.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect preferred.
- Experience with DevOps practices and tools such as CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automation is a plus.
